New Mapfre Commercials

The main sponsor of the 250cc Mapfre Aspar Team produced a new set of commercials with Álvaro Bautista and Jorge Martinez. The spots have the reoccuring theme of Álvaro "representing" a motorbike that faces all the adverse situations of standing on the streets.

Bancaja Aspar team supporting young talent in Cheste

At the final MotoGP round of the season in Valencia one of the supporting races was the Cuna Campeones series which is somewhat similar to the Movistar Junior Cup a couple of years ago. With five classes - Minimotos, MiniGP, MiniGP XL, Pre GP and Pre GP Evo - the cup gives an opportunity for young talent to shine and take the first steps in competitive racing.
Sponsored by Bancaja, the cup invited the whole Bancaja Aspar Team in Valencia and Sergio Gadea, Gabor Talmacsi, Adrian Martin as well as Jorge Martinez gave the youngsters some advice, signed autographs and posed for pictures. The video below shows highlights of the races at the Cheste circuit and includes short interviews with the Aspar Team as well as with Belson Derbi rider Joan Olive.

After clinching his first CEV podium of the season with a great second place in Jerez, Bancaja Aspar rider Pere Tutusaus talked about his race in the press conference afterwards, together with winner Luis Salom and third placed Efrén Vázquez.

Video: Hector Faubel & Pere Tutusaus at CEV

Another video from Paddock GP. This one is filmed by Mapfre Aspar rider Hector Faubel at the CEV in Valencia.
He goes around the paddock with a camera and also interviews fellow Bancaja Aspar rider Pere Tutusaus before the race.

YouTube user GaSs34 uploaded the recent feature of Mapfre Aspar rider Alvaro Bautista on the Spanish TV show Paddock GP.
It is a very interesting insight into Alvaro's life and he shows some places in Talavera as well.


The same user also uploaded two clips of Bancaja Aspar rider Pere Tutusaus from Paddock GP. One features him at the Spanish Championship CEV in Valencia, the other one is a short profile.

After his stunning victory in the first race of the season, riding with a dislocated collarbone, the Spanish TV show "Paddock GP" featured Sergio Gadea in a short profile, visiting the 125cc Bancaja Aspar rider at home and filming him during training.

Here's a videoclip of the 2008 pre-season photo shoot for the Mapfre Aspar Team, covering both the 125cc and 250cc squads.
It features the bikes and all the riders, with 250 boys Alvaro Bautista & Hector Faubel showing off their new red livery, and the 125 squad's Gabor Talmacsi and Sergio Gadea joined by newbie Pere Tutusaus in the usual blue/white combo.
